Michael P. “Hacksaw” Reynolds, 59 of Elmwood, NE, died Sunday, March 13, 2016 at his home near Elmwood. He was born December 19, 1956 in Lincoln, NE to Paul and Peggy (Perry) Reynolds. Michael attended Seward High School. He served his country in the U.S. Marines from 1975-1979 when he was honorably discharged. On March 28, 2008, Michael was married to Gail Vlasak in Plattsmouth, NE. Michael worked as a heavy equipment operator for BNSF Railroad for 41 years.
Michael loved deer hunting, fishing, Husker football, Green Bay Packers, and playing cards. He was a member of the American Legion Post #129 and the BMW Teamsters.
He is survived by wife Gail Reynolds; children: Paul Reynolds of Malcom, NE, Tami Reynolds of Shawnee, OK, and Leslie (Ryan) Masquas of Seminole, OK; step-sons: Pat Jelinek of Wahoo and Paul Jelinek of Wahoo; 7 granddaughters and 6 grandsons; siblings: Gary Reynolds of York, NE, Chris (Bev) Reynolds of Lincoln, NE, Karen (Aaron) Nansel of Bennett, CO, Susan Myers of York, NE, Connie (Richard) Jindra of Utica, NE.
He was preceded in death by parents Paul and Peggy Reynolds.
Will be missed by all.
