Micki Novak, 61, of Wahoo, NE, entered into rest on Friday, August 20, 2021 at her home in Wahoo, NE. Micki was born January 23, 1960 in Broken Bow, NE. She graduated from Mead High School in 1978. On November 27, 1993, Micki was married to Kenneth Novak in Ashland, NE. Micki worked as a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for 16 years.
Micki enjoyed fishing, spending time with her family and she loved her dogs.
She is survived by her father, Dale Freeman; brother, Dan (Sheri) Freeman; children, Ronnie Novak, Richard (Amy) Novak, Shelly (Todd) Smith and Sherri Novak; parents-in-law, Bill and Donna Novak; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Novak; mother, Connie Freeman; sister, Deb Ruzicka; great-grandma, Gladys Sickler.
I can’t believe Micki is gone what shock. Micki will be missed and is loved by my whole family her and Kenny were a big part of our lives growing up in Mead. My thoughts and prayers are with you all, love you all and God bless.
Micki was our mail carrier for the past few years. She was so friendly and did her job well, while always smiling. She will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.
So so to hear of Miki’s passing. Worked with her at the Wahoo Post Office. Great lady, will sadly miss her. Prayers and hugs to family.

We were so sad to learn of Micki’s death. I loved visiting with her! She always had such a big, warm smile!

She was our mail carrier also a couple years ago and was so great. Prayers to the family.
I worked with Micki at the Weston Post Office, and she quickly became like a second mom to me, even lovingly referring to me as her daughter on occasion. I loved that she called me Sunny, a nickname I will be proud to have forever. My heart is with her family.
Sad to hear of Micki’s passing. It certainly brings back memories of stories and time spent with her folks and with Micki.
