Richene D. “Ricki” Perkins, 70 of Ashland passed away Thursday, November 23, 2017 at the Ashland Care Center in Ashland.  She was born July 29, 1947 in Omaha, NE to Richard and Barbara (Wagner) Christy.  She graduated from Ashland High School in 1965.  She was united in marriage on December 12, 1988 to Craig Perkins in Florida.  She worked as a cashier for Harold Grocery in Ashland and at the Greenwood Truck Stop.  She is a member of the First Christian Church in Ashland and enjoyed gardening and traveling with her husband Craig.

Ricki is survived by her daughter, Christy Franks of Lincoln; son, Marty Blessing of Wilmington, NC; grandchildren, Nicholas, Stephanie, Rachel and Miranda Huggins all of Lincoln; great-grandchildren, Kiara and Landen Huggins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Craig Perkins, mother, Barbara (Orval) Cunningham; father, Richard Christy; son-in-law, Curtis Franks.
