Rick R. Coenen, 71, of Wahoo, NE, entered into rest on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at his home in Wahoo, NE. He was born February 6, 1950 in Randolph, NE to Bill and Sylvia Coenen. Rick graduated from Randolph High School in Randolph, NE.
Following high school Rick farmed with his family until moving to Elkhorn in 1970. He later moved to Wahoo and started a career with M.E. Collins. Rick worked for M.E. Collins until his retirement. On May 2, 2021, Rick was married to Mary (Busch) Durham. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by wife, Mary Coenen; three children; daughter, Maria (Gary) Myers; grandchildren, Michael (Kylie) Myers and Brandi Myers; great-grandchildren, Gracelyn and Cooper Myers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Sylvia Coenen; sister, Nila Dickes.
Mary this breaks heart to see. You know how fond of Rick I was. His laugh and one-liners will never be forgotten. Thinking of you at this time!
