Rodney A. Harnish, 73 of Ashland, NE passed Saturday, October 7, 2017 at his home in Ashland. He was born January 7, 1944 in Mount Vernon, WA to Gloyd and Virginia (Chapin) Harnish.
Rodney was a Navy Veteran during the Vietnam Era. He worked for A&D Technology for over 20 years. He loved watching movies and anime. He enjoyed shooting his bow, making arrows, working on his computer and going out for walks.
Rodney is survived his sons, Keeley Harnish of Ashland, Patrick Harnish of Mason City, IA, Jarod Harnish of Mason City, IA; daughter, Kristina Harnish of Mason City, IA; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Don (Laurie) Harnish, Fred (Linda) Harnish; sister, Janet (Doug) Casement.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Matthew Harnish; great-grandson, Carter Lee Harnish and parents.
