Our thoughts and prayers are with you. I have many fond memories of Roger serving as a very dedicated host in our State campgrounds and playing a very important role in our Ponca and Niobrara events. He was always friendly and willing to help. Our Nebraska Game and Parks Commission team will miss him.

Lots of fond childhood memories. Four of us started in kindergarten and graduated together. Roger, Bobby Dressen(died in a car accident after surviving Vietnam), Joyce Pinkelman (don’t know where she is), and me(Dennis Pedersen). Oh, what fun we had. Kids today should experience the joys and some sorrows that we had. We all turned out to be pretty good people. Roger, may you Rest In Peace. Your memories and contributions to society will live on through what you have passed on through your family. I don’t think our paths crossed after high school but the memories are still there from Miss Marylou Hansen’s kindergarten class.
