Stacie A. Bohac, 97 of Wahoo, NE entered into eternal rest Monday, July 3, 2017 at the Saunders County Long Term Center in Wahoo. She was born April 23, 1920 in rural Seward County to Mike and Stacie (Svoboda) Dvorak She was united in marriage to Joseph Bohac on November 22, 1938 at Assumption Catholic Church in Dwight, NE. After their marriage, Stacie and Joe farmed in the Dwight and Touhy areas before moving to Wahoo. She was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. Stacie enjoyed tending to her flowers and her garden, cooking and baking. Her apple strudel, plum dumpling and homemade chicken noodle soup were her family’s favorite.
She is survived by her children, Delano (Gerry) Bohac of Wahoo, Adeline Dostal of Wahoo, Richard (Toni) Bohac of Garland, Marvin (Jan) Bohac of Valparaiso and Dennis (Geradette Bohac of Valparaiso; grandchildren, Doug, Kurt, Mark Bohac, Karen Egr, Kay Lynn Machacek, Jared, Jamie Dostal, Tammy Tejral, Julie Klimm, Joe Bohac, Ted Bohac, Amy Sabatka, Brett Bohac, Ashley Steinhauser, Amanda Coleman; 41 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister, Rose Bohac, Mae Pernicek; sisters-in-law, Bessie Dvorak, Toni Wotipka, Oley Dvorak.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Bohac; granddaughter, Becky Hastings; parents; three brothers; one sister; son-in-law, James Dostal.
