Thomas T. Thorson, 58, of Mead, NE passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2023 in Omaha.  He was born June 7, 1964 in Wahoo, NE to Caroll and Donna (Brabec) Thorson.  He graduated from Mead High School in 1983.  Tom worked for Aero Industries in Omaha for 39 years.

Though he sometimes showed a tough exterior, Tom was a soft-hearted man who lived life on his own terms and would help anyone in any way he could.  As is characteristic of his generous nature, Tom chose to have his tissues and organs donated to help those in need. He enjoyed fishing at his cabin on Calamus Lake and tending to his garden.  He loved his dogs and most importantly he was a dedicated family man and employee.

Tom is survived by his son, Steven (Susan) Ruhe; grandson Luke; siblings, Karri (Henry) Mildenberger, Rod (Shelli) Thorson, William (Patricia) Thorson and Clayton “C.J.” (Stephanie) Darnell; many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Caroll Thorson; mother, Donna Darnell; and stepfather, John Darnell.
