Wilma L. Decker, 100, of Ashland, NE, died Saturday, November 5, 2016 at the Ashland Care Center in Ashland. She was born April 11, 1916 near Memphis, NE to Frank and Jennie (Wilgus) Semenec.
Wilma graduated from Wahoo High School. She taught country school in Saunders County for 39 years. On June 26, 1982, Wilma was married to Andrew Decker in rural Memphis, NE. Wilma loved children and she always enjoyed family gatherings.
She is survived by nephew Merlin (Linda) Brodd of Fremont, 3 great-nephews, and 2 great-nieces.
She was preceded in death by her husband Andrew Decker; sister Evelyn Brodd; and brother Donald Semenec.
I was saddened to read this notice! Wilma was an amazing person that was so friendly to me. Even though it has been a long time since I have seen her, I will never forget her & the smile she always wore!
