WM. Jerry Jones, 77, of Ceresco, NE, entered into rest on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Tabitha Journey House in Lincoln, NE. He was born December 28, 1944 in Lincoln, NE to William and Annette (Yanny) Jones. Jerry graduated from Northeast High School in Lincoln, NE. On December 5, 1962, Jerry was married to Kathy Scdoris in Council Bluffs, IA. Jerry owned and operated J. Jones LLC trucking company.
Jerry was a member of the Cushman Club. He loved his trucks, restoring Jeeps and John Deere tractors.
He is survived by wife of 60 years, Kathy Jones; son, Jeff (Pat) Jones; grandchildren, Jack Jones and Daphne Jones; many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jeanine Louise Jones; and parents, William and Annette Jones.
My sincere sympathy to Kathy, Jeff and family. Jerry was one the most helpful person on this earth helping and never asking anything in return.
May the good Lord wrap his tender arms around each of you and give you peace and understanding in your heart. Sandy
I was so sorry to hear of Jerry’s passing. Our families shared many happy memories. It brings to mind the wonderful Fourth of July celebrations! May peace be with you.
