St. Francis Cemetery ~ Wahoo, Nebraska
Jon and Cori Mooberry of Wahoo welcomed son Abel William into this world on January, 11th 2018 at 3:08 pm. He remained on earth for 2 precious hours, where during this time Fr. Joseph Faulkner was able to baptize, confirm, and anoint him. We watched him transform into a Saint before our eyes and then return back to Heaven shortly after 5pm. All 5 of Abel’s brothers and us were blessed to watch him open his eyes and hold him – an event we are eternally grateful for.
The veil was lifted and we glimpsed Heaven on January 11th, 2018. We witnessed the miracle of a 4lb baby boy convert the hearts of many during his short time with us on earth. While we mourn our loss of parenthood, we find solace in knowing God granted him a perfect life – one without sin, pain, suffering, or heartache. Abel’s family is humbled by the outpouring of generosity, love, and prayers by so many that helped us carry this cross.
Abel is survived by his parents (Jon and Cori), older brothers (Cooper – 13, Cal – 8, Teddy – 7, Jett – 5, and Benedict – 2). His maternal grandparents are Dale and Vickie Kerkman of David City, and paternal grandparents are Tom and Trish Mooberry of Lexington.
St. Abel William – our forever breathing spirit in Heaven – pray for us, interceding to guide and protect our family until we meet again in Eternity!
With deepest sympathy for your loss.
