Judy & family— Prayers to your family. So sorry to hear of Jerry’s passing Steve & Kathy Chatt & family.
My sincere condolences to the family. Jerry was such a special guy. I will never forget his laugh. He was always happy and smiling and always telling stories about the farm and his kids and grandkids. It was an honor to know him and help him at the Elkhorn Clinic for many years. Prayers for his wonderful family to stay strong.
This world has lost a bright light and heaven has gained a new angel. St Nick is probably now looking for a new job as Jerry might be taking over that role up there ;). He will be greatly missed. I can’t wait to see him again sometime.
Jerry was a dear friend, customer and Board of Directors member. Never had a bad thing to say about anyone. He will be missed. Judy and family you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Truly an amazing man who will be missed dearly! A one of a kind guy who would do anything for anyone. Thank you Jerry for all the laughs, the lessons, and help. It’s been an absolute blessing to have you in my life. My love and prayers go out to all of your loved ones.
The McBride family extends our deepest sympathy to you all for the loss of Jerry. Fond memories of years gone past with all Ostransky’s and McBride’s. Prayers for all and may Jerry be farming those fields above. God Bless.
Jennifer and I are saddened to learn about Jerry’s passing. He along with Jeremy and Jerod farmed 200 acres north of our home. He listened to my dumb questions about farming and always had a big smile talking about his family. Encroaching development a few years ago swallowed up the ground and we lost touch. We will keep him in our thoughts always.
The McBride family extends our deepest sympathy to the Ostransky families. We have such fond memories of years back. May Jerry be farming the fields above us. God Bless.
My condolences to all your family.
Sorry to hear and prayers out to the family. Those that knew Jerry will never forget him

I am so sorry for your loss. I played softball with Big Dog for years. He was a great player and teammate. Even better was his sense of humor. He was one of a kind.

Lord,
Please keep and carry these precious people in their sadness and loss. Cover them with your great wings of love, give their weary hearts rest and their minds sound sleep. Lord, lift their eyes so that they may catch a glimpse of eternity, and be comforted by the promise of heaven
Condolence to the family. Hearing his laugh just made you feel better. He was such a great guy willing to help his kids whenever and wherever. I remember him driving out to Kearney just to help play in a slow pitch softball tournament. The time spent after talking and laughing I still remember.
My thoughts and prayers go out for the whole family. May God grant you peace and fond memories in the days to come.
Prayers to the family. Such horrible loss.

Judy, Jeremy, Janelle and Jared, you have the Frerichs’ deepest sympathy! My heart aches thinking about the void in your lives created by the sudden and tragic loss of your wonderful husband and father. As your teacher and coach it was a privilege to be a part of your lives and to experience the joy you’re Dad got from watching you learn and compete. Bar-none, Jerry was the best parent ever!
So sorry to hear of Jerry’s sudden passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to Judy and the kids, and all the Ostransky Family! Haven’t seen him in quite a while but can still hear his laugh and have great memories!

Jerry was a great guy, i first met him when we were just 16 years old, He was always happy to see you and always went out of his way to say Hi and ask how you were doing! A great man shouldn’t have to pass away the way he did! The world is losing one of the good guys! He will be miss by so many people, he touched so many lives! God is getting a angel today! He was a great man!
I thought Jerry was a super nice fellow. I ran into him in Baumgaar’s a few years ago. He recognized me, bless his heart, and we had a nice chat about old times. I am so sorry for your loss.
Lorri Patton Urban, Coach Patton’s wife.
Judy and Family – My deepest sympathies to the Ostransky family for Jerry’s tragic loss. On our regular Sunday visits to our Omaha families, Uncle Frank and Aunt Mill’s farm was a favorite. Of course, being boy and girl cousins Jerry was a bit on the ornery side as were my brothers. I am so glad to hear that Jerry had a wonderful family life and was loved by all.
Our deepest sympathies to the family. It was quite a shock when we heard the news. Many fond memories and Jerry, Judy, and the children when we lived in Elkhorn — ball games and hunting trips. Heaven got another angel to watch over us all. Our prayers and thoughts, Mike and Mary Kava and family.
