Lillian Ann Ludvik, 90 of Wahoo, NE, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at South Haven Living Center in Wahoo. She was born February 27, 1925 in rural Colon, NE to James and Maymie (Chmelka) Hula. Lillian was the oldest of three children. She attended school at District 70 and completed her education at Malmo High School as she graduated in 1942.

Lillian worked at the 5 & 10 Variety Store, Pennys for 2 years, and at the Wahoo Bakery for 32 years before retiring in 2001. On September 10, 1946, she was united in marriage to Rudy Ludvik at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Wahoo.

She was a lifetime member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. Lillian loved gardening her flowers and vegetables and she loved spending time outdoors. Her farm was one of her favorite places, caring for her animals, especially her cats. Lillian was known to her family as “Kitty Grandma”. Quilting and sewing were some of her hobbies, and she used her skills to make a quilt for each of her grandchildren. Lillian will be missed by her family and many friends and they will especially miss her sweet smile and big heart.

She is survived by children, Bernie Ludvik of Crete, David (Cheryl) Ludvik of Valparaiso, Dan (Melanie) Ludvik of Wahoo, Lynette (Victor) Frost of Omaha; 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 4 step-grandchildren; brother, Raymond Hula of Colon; brother-in-law, Frank Koranda of Wahoo; sister-in-law, Betty Ludvik of Wahoo, Agnes Kavan of Colon, and Dorothy Kavan of Morse Bluff; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by husband, Rudy Ludvik; parents, James and Maymie Hula; sister, Gladys Koranda; granddaughter, Anne Ludvik; great-grandson, Miles Ludvik.

    Dan and Mel i am very sorry for your loss, she was the sweetest lady i just loved her she always had a kind word to say and was so happy to see you when you were around her.prayers are with you and your family.
