Linda Kay Malik, 68, of Mead, NE, died Thursday, November 30, 2017 at her home in Mead, NE.  She was born June 23, 1949 in Bloomfield, NE to Marvin “Bud” and Darlene (Tweedy) LaCroix.  Linda attended Mead High School.  On March 13, 1982, Linda was married to James “Sonny” Malik in Mead, NE.

Linda enjoyed being outdoors, especially camping and gardening.  She loved reading books, crossword puzzles, dancing, singing, caring for her pets and driving her golf cart around.  Linda especially loved family and friends and she always found time to spoil her grandkids.  She was a fun loving caring lady that everyone loved.

She is survived by husband of 35 years, James “Sonny” Malik; children, Scott (Cindy) Pickworth of Mead, NE, Shannon (Cindy) Pickworth of Lenexa, KS and Stacy (Mike) Luetkenhaus of Mead, NE; grandchildren, Austin, Brandon, Zach, Hunter, Tyler, Payton, Rylee, Brayden, Addyson, Logan, Katie, Morgan, Nolan and Megan; great-grandchildren, Brooke, Gina, Braydon and Nyah; siblings, LeRoy (Betty) LaCroix, Larry (Helen) LaCroix, Lonnie (Laurie) LaCroix, Lois (Craig) Padgett and Lyle (Connie) LaCroix; many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by mother, Darlene LaCroix; granddaughter, Gracelynn Luetkenhaus; father-in-law, James Malik Jr.; mother-in-law, Nellie Malik; niece, Leah LaCroix; nephew, Ricky LaCroix.
