Mae A. Jackson, 91 of Wahoo, NE, died on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, NE. She was born September 15, 1923 to Anton T. and Helen (Zeleny) Petrzelka in Prague. She graduated from Prague High School in 1941. She worked at the ordinance plant in Mead and later worked for several years at Monroe Manufacturing in Cozad. Mae was a very neat, clean, and meticulous person, and people also hired her to clean their houses and business offices in the various Nebraska communities (Gordon, Chapel, Cozad, Arnold, and Wahoo) she lived in throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Jackson; brothers, Adrian Petrzelka, Jerome Petrzelka, and Anton Petrzelka, Jr. She is survived by her son, Duane (Beth) Jackson; grandson, Mark (Lynette) Jackson; granddaughter, Lori (Rodney) Randolph, all of Kearney; sister, Sharon Dauel of Omaha; and brother, Ruben Petrzelka of Fremont. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.
