In Care of the Family

Mari Jean Bunch, 60, of Prague, NE. She was known as “Jeana” by those who loved her. Jeana moved around; she lived in
Arkansas, Florida, Germany, Minnesota, Nebraska, Texas, Oklahoma, Iowa, and recently Kentucky, and maybe i forgot some.  She was born to Edgar and Jane (Parker) Brown on Jan. 1, 1960 in Miami, FL and entered into rest Aug. 18, 2020 in Prague, NE.

Jeana especially loved and enjoyed her children and grandchildren. Her grandkids called her Nana; she was a proud and loving Nana! Jeana loved her family, her friends, and her Service Dog Odie. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, growing potted plants, arts & crafts, and watching her fish swim around. Jeana was tech-savvy, she loved being on the computer with friends. She could fix most anything. She worked as a telemarketer, a caregiver for children, she was a nurses aide / caregiver before they were titled CNA’s.

Jeana was so very courageous, she battled cancer her entire live. Brain cancer at 7, colon cancer since age 19, throat cancer, which took her voice at 52, and now liver and stomach cancer. She said to me, “Joanie, I don’t think I can beat this one!” We will all truly miss and forever love her!

Jeana is survived by her children, Bruce C. Holt Jr. of Oklahoma, and Carmen M. (Holt) Wallace of Texas. By her grandchildren, Bruce’s three sons, Xavier “X”, Aiden, & Jordan and Carmen’s daughter, Makayla. Her siblings, Darlene (Ed) Bayless of Oklahoma, Joanie (Jim) Vanek and Cindi (Larry) Ourada of Nebraska, Cathy Falcon of Arkansas, Alice “Texas” Brown and Shawn (Debbie) Brown of Florida. She was also survived by many unmentioned, but loved family members, and friends.

Jeana was preceded in death by her granddaughter Audrey LeeAnn (Carmen’s daughter & Makayla’s little sister), mother and step-dad, Jane & Bill Wilcox, father Edgar Brown, brother Glen (Red) Parker Brown, and sister Pamela Taylor Brown, as well as many other loved family members, and friends.
