Raymond H. TePoel, 92 of Malmo, NE, entered into eternal rest Friday, June 22, 2018 at Dunklau Gardens in Fremont, NE.  He was born September 18, 1925 in Malmo to J. Ray and Loretta (Pageler) TePoel.   He attended Duck Creek grade school, graduated from Prague High School and attended Army GI School in Prague.  Ray proudly served his country in the U.S. Army entering September 22, 1944 and was honorably discharge from his duties on November 24, 1946.  During his time in the Army he received the Bronze Star, Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal, WWII Victory Medal and a Good Conduct Medal.  On December 27, 1947 he was united in marriage to Irene M. Musilek at St. Peter Catholic Church in Omaha, NE.

Ray was a lifelong farmer who enjoyed restoring old tractors, tractor drives and carpentry. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, American Legion Post #254 and the Camp Creek Threshers.

He is survived by his children, Lee (Shirley) TePoel of Humphrey, NE, Jeanne (Ron) Vanek of Prague, NE, Susan (Joseph) Robison of Edna, KS, Chris (Kim) TePoel of Malmo, NE, Jeff (Deanna) TePoel of Malmo, NE, Bert TePoel of Lincoln; grandchildren, Kevin TePoel, Nicky (Chad) Jacobs, Tracy (Roger) Kubik, Ryan (Michelle) Vanek, De (Ron) Hanke, Jessica (Jim) Zalesky, Russell (Beth) Vanek, Amy (Craig) Lumley, Tom (Jena) Robison, Beth Robison, Desirae TePoel, Dylan TePoel, Alison (Andy) Nickel, Mackenzie TePoel; 23 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Bertha Musilek.

He was preceded in death by his, parents, J. Ray and Loretta TePoel; wife, Irene TePoel, infant daughter; great-grandson, Preston Robison.
