Lucille A. Sramek, 92 of Wahoo, entered into eternal rest August 28, 2016 at the Immanuel Fontenelle Home in Omaha, NE.  She was born January 20, 1924 in Atkinson, NE to Max and Ann Beister.  Lucille was united in marriage to James Sramek on July 25, 1977 in Wahoo, NE.

Lucille was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  She worked at the Tip Top factory in Omaha and at Platte Foods in Wahoo where she worked on an assembly line preparing onions.  She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She liked to listen to Alan Jackson, who was her favorite country artist, but most of all she loved to dance with her late husband, Jim at Sokol Hall in Omaha to her favorite polka singer, Ernie Kucera.  She loved planting flowers and was an avid Nebraska Fan.  She was a remarkable woman who never spoke bad of anyone and who was always first to greet you with a “hello honey”.

She is survived by her children, Bob (Delayne) Rigby of Independence, MO, Larry Rigby of Carter Lake, IA, Joe (Lynn) Rigby of Missouri Valley, IA, Kathy Marckmann of Creston, IA, Debbie (Luther) Frank of Fontanelle, IA, Linda (Tom) Jensen of Omaha; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; sister, Betty (John) Poulicek.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Sramek; son, Steve Rigby; grandson, Joseph Rigby; parents.

Condolences for Lucille A. Sramek

So sorry to hear of your mothers passing.
You don’t know me, but I am a cousin of yours. My mother was Clara Beister.
I found out from Laura Lord.
You were fortunate to have had your mother for many years.
Keep all the great memories in your heart and thank the Lord for her.
God bless you all. Barbara Catherine
