June A. Egr, 88, of Wahoo, NE, entered into eternal rest, Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at South Haven Living Center in Wahoo.  She was born June 1, 1928 in Prague, NE to James and Marian (Zizka) Voboril.  June graduated from Prague High School in 1946 and JFK College in Wahoo with Summa Cum Laude honors.  On November 20, 1947, June was united in marriage to Charles Egr at St. John the Baptist Church in Prague, NE.  June worked for Nebraska Social Services for 20 years until her retirement.

June was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Altar Rosary Society, St. Ludmilla Guild, Catholic Daughters, and the VFW #4502 Auxiliary.  June was a sports fan and her passion was her granddaughter Brin.

She is survived by son Randy (Erin) Egr of Wahoo; daughter Mary Jane (Dean) Egr Edson of Lincoln; granddaughter Brin Egr; sister Jeanette Jambor of Lincoln; and brother Jack Voboril of California; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by husband Charles Egr; brother James Voboril; and sister Joyce Polacek.

    My condolences to the family. June was my piano instructor for a brief period when I was a boy in Prague Nebr. I will never forget her.
