In Care of the Family

David A. Wotipka, 59 of Lincoln entered into eternal rest Thursday, August 10, 2017 at his home. He was born March 9, 1958 in Lincoln, NE to Adolph and Antonia (Bohac) Wotipka. In his early years, David had fond memories of his two dogs, Poco and Coco. He attended District #161 grade school in Ceresco and graduated from Raymond Central High School in 1976. David was a farmer in the Ceresco area. He enjoyed tending to his mother’s flowers and his garden. He was an avid Mustang and Ford Torino enthusiast. David’s greatest love was cooking. There was never an empty plate when visiting him.

David is survived by his mother, Antonia Wotipka of Lincoln, twin-brother, Adolph (Diane) Wotipka of Ceresco; sister, LaVerne Ehrlich of Lincoln; half-brothers, Lee (Linda) Wotipka of Wayzata, MN, the late, Dennis Dolezal of Lincoln; half-sister, Shirley Dolezal of Lincoln and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Adolph, Sr.; half-brother, Donald Dolezal; brother-in-law, Fred Ehrlich.

    Oh my gosh!!! I heard from Greg this afternoon that David had died. Was hoping it wasn’t true. Your family has been threw so much lately. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

    I was sorry to hear about Dave. It brought back all the memories I have of “hanging out with the twins” in the late 70’s and early 80’s. I will cherish those earlier times…and I can still see the smile on his face. RIP Dave.

    May you rest in Peace, David. I’m from a big family, too, and have lost 3 siblings, and 4 brother and sisterinlaws.and all my Aunts and Uncles. We will remember the good deeds and happy days , until we meet again.
