Sorry to hear of Carol’s passing. She was a dear friend. I remember the times we lived together and worked in Lincoln and you started dating Carol. Alf, you and Carol and Dean and I were married two weeks apart in 1957. May God grant you comfort to ease your loss.

When thinking of my childhood I always think of Alf and and Carol, their big smiles, their big white house, their big yard, their apple and pears trees, and their beautiful dog, Sophie. I will always have a special place in my heart for them. I will forever cherish being able to grow up next to them as neighbors. My thoughts and prayers go out to Alf and the rest of the family. Carol will be missed greatly.
