Calvin Ray Tweedy of Keota, Iowa passed away, Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at home comfortably surrounded by loved ones. He was born June 24, 1953 in Lynch, Nebraska to Harold & Arbutus “June” (Pritchett) Tweedy. He was united in marriage May 30, 1972 to Lorraine “Lori” Jean Obershaw and she preceded him in death April 24, 2018.
Calvin was a hard worker and good provider for his family. He loved his chihuahua, “Little One”. He liked to play cards, go fishing & camping, watching westerns and game shows, watching football and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by daughters, Rachel (Kevin) Lowe, Jenny Tweedy; grandchildren, Hannah, Emma, Eli, Kathryn, Natalie, Michaela, Jakub, Caleb, Madelyn, Oliver; siblings, his twin Melvin (Tamara)Tweedy, Susan Pfannebecker, Fred Tweedy, Joan Griff (fiancé Chris Baldwin).
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Lori, son-in-law, Matthew Burrows, brother-in-law, Rick Pfannebecker, and nephew, Charles “J.R.” Relfe.
RIP CALVIN.
