Scott E. Pickworth, 54, of Mead, NE, entered into rest on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at his home in Mead, NE. He was born August 18, 1967 in Wahoo, NE to Steven and Linda (LaCroix) Pickworth. Scott graduated from Mead High School in 1986. On June 16, 1990, he was united in marriage to Cindy Frahm at Alma Lutheran Church in Mead, NE.
Scott owned and operated Pickworth Trucking for the past 34 years. He was a member of the Mead Vol. Fire Department. He was an enthusiastic sports fan and he always loved watching his kids compete. He loved competing at truck pulls and he loved his trips to the casino.
He is survived by wife of 31 years, Cindy Pickworth; sons, Austin Pickworth, Brandon (Megan) Pickworth, Zach Pickworth, Hunter Pickworth and Tyler Pickworth; grandson, Weston Scott Pickworth; father, Steven (Cheryl) Pickworth; step-father, James “Sonny” Malik; siblings, Shannon (Cindy) Pickworth and Stacy (Mike) Luetkenhaus; mother-in-law, Pat Frahm; step-brothers, Shane (Cari) Sweet and Clint (Rachel) Sweet; step-sister, Shannon (Jason) Zimmer; many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by mother, Linda Malik; grandparents, Marvin “Bud” and Darlene LaCroix; step-brother, Bryan Sweet; father-in-law, James Frahm.
My sympathy to Scott’s family A life taken way to early I will always remember all the fun we all had truck pulling. I’ll bet Scott will have the prettiest and most powerful Pete in heaven rest in peace my friend
I am so sorry for the family’s loss of Scott. I will all ways remember him as always willing to help my dad with any questions that dad had about being an owner operator. My prayers and thoughts are with all of the family. He will be missed by many.

Scott always had a smile on his face. That’s how I’ll remember him. I’m so sorry. I’s so hard to lose someone so young. My thoughts & prayers are with you all.
