Celestine A. Slemin, 86 of Wahoo, NE passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at the Saunders Medical Center in Wahoo.  She was born February 7, 1936 in Valparaiso, NE to Joseph and Rose (Rehak) Slemin.  She was a graduate of Ceresco High School.  She worked on the family farm until 1971 when she moved to Wahoo.  She went on and worked at the Platte Valley Plant for many years.

She enjoyed baking, gardening and tending to her flowers, especially her African Violets.

She is survived by her sisters, Eleanor Jelinek and Rosemarie Slemin; many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Rose Slemin; brothers, Stanley, Frank, Theodore, Vladimir and Leonard; sisters-in-law, Mary Slemin and Dorothy Slemin; brother-in-law, Donald Jelinek.
