Margie L. Vrana, 87, of Wahoo, NE, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at South Haven Living Center in Wahoo, NE.  She was born April 24, 1936 in Wahoo, NE to Adolf and Evelyn (Kucera) Maly.  Margie graduated from Wahoo High School in 1953.  On November 13, 1954, Margie was united in marriage to Joseph G. Vrana at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Wahoo, NE.  Margie farmed with her husband, Joe, on the Vrana home place for over 50 years, until Joe died in 2005.

Margie was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Altar Rosary Society, St. Ludmilla’s Guild and the St. Wenceslaus sewing group.  She was a past member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church and the Altar Society in Abie, NE.  Margie enjoyed baking, cooking, dancing and attending grandchildren’s activities.

She is survived by her children, Steve (Raleen) Vrana of Wahoo, Dave (Diane) Vrana of Prague and Don (Peggy) Vrana of Kansas City; grandchildren, Jeremy (Lisa) Vrana, Jennifer (Mike) Spicka, Doug (Beth) Vrana, Michelle (Tyler) Murphy, Adam (Kaylan) Vrana and Joel (Sara) Vrana; great-grandchildren, Samuel Vrana, Thomas Vrana, Julia Vrana, Phillip Vrana, Nicholas Vrana, Aliza Spicka, Dylan Spicka, Clara Spicka, Carter Vrana, Hudson Vrana and Brooks Vrana.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph G. Vrana; parents, Adolf and Evelyn Maly.
