Jerald D. Robinson, 82 of Ithaca, NE passed away Sunday, March 17, 2024 in Ithaca. He was born February 8, 1942 in Omaha, NE to Carlton L. and Mary A. (Case) Robinson. He was united in marriage to Helen B. Park on February 3, 1964. Jerald was a U.S. Army Veteran during the Vietnam War. He entered the Army on February 17, 1964 and was honorably discharged on February 16, 1966. He continued his military service in the U.S. National Guard for many years.
Jerald worked as a warehouse manager for Mutual Distributing in Omaha for many years. He was also an over-the-road truck driver for P.I.E., Amcon, and Kenny Bernstein Racing. While growing up he helped his parents on the family farm.
He was a former member of American Legion Post #8334 in Millard and former member of Marshall Drive Baptist Church in Omaha.
Jerald was an animal lover. He had a show horse named “Randy” who won a lot of horse shows and trophies.
Jerald is survived by his daughter, Desiree (Don) Juelfs of Ithaca, NE; son, Jerald (Bambi) Robinson Jr. of Fremont, NE; grandchildren, Aaron Robinson, Dustin Juelfs, Dalton Robinson, Andrew Robinson, Elizabeth Forbes; great-grandchildren, Devin Robinson, Dominique Phavong, Delanie Robinson, Nataniel Robinson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carlton and Mary Robinson; wife, Helen Robinson; siblings, Carlton, Jerry (Delores), Darlene (George), Junior (Janet), Marie, Delores (Paul).
I was just thinking about your dad today and discovered that he had passed! We loved living across the street from you guys. Sending our deepest sympathy!
