Jana Sebring Davison was born on February 18th 1960 in Los Angeles, California.  She passed away in her home on December 8, 2013 in Omaha, Nebraska.  She was the daughter of Margorie and Robert Sebring.  While growing up Jana attended Brentwood High School in Los Angeles, California.  During that time she enjoyed horseback riding, surfing, and playing beach volleyball.  Upon graduating high school in 1978, she met some friends from Nebraska and moved from Los Angles, California to Weston, Nebraska.  It was in Weston where she met a man in the service who eventually became the love of her life, Bryan “Mike” Davison.  She and Mike were married on August 23, 1980 in Wahoo.  Wahoo became their permanent place of residence.  To this union, three sons were born:  Justin Michael, Brett Brian, and Timothy Robert.  While her boys were growing up, Jana enjoyed life as a stay at home mom.  With raising boys came Jana’s love for the outdoors and baseball.  She even coached Brett’s pee wee baseball team.  You could always find her sitting at a baseball game or helping Mike and the boys prepare for a hunting or fishing trip.  Jana was a giver, always eager to offer a helping hand.  One of her proudest moments was during Desert Storm, where she created “Operation Wahoo Cookie.”  During this time, Jana led a team of volunteers working out of the Wahoo Elementary School kitchen and baked tens of thousands of cookies for the service men and women in Iraq.

Jana loved arts and crafts.  During Jana’s life, she found herself crocheting, quilting and making jewelry.  She also enjoyed collectables and listening to country music.

Jana was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Davison, parents, and mother-in-law Fern Davison. She is survived by her three children:  Justin, Brett and Timothy and her granddaughters:  Lynnsey Davison and Bethany Broderson.
