Adeline “Eldeen” A. Matulka, 92 of Raymond, NE entered into eternal rest February 16, 2021. She was born March 1, 1928 in Bruno, NE to Joseph and Tillie (Pekarek) Rejda. She graduated from Brainard High School. Eldeen was united in marriage to Louis Matulka, Sr. in 1973 in Ulysses, NE.
Eldeen grew up on a farm near Ulysses she also helped at the grocery store her parents owned in Brainard and Bruno. She volunteered at the Catholic Quote newspaper in Valparaiso. She was a member of Sts. Mary & Joseph Catholic Church in Valparaiso. She enjoyed gardening, growing flowers and her cats.
She is survived by her stepson, Louis Matulka, Jr. and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Tillie Rejda; husbands, Louis Matulka, Sr. and Joseph Matulka; stepson, Les Matulka, siblings, Joseph, William and Tillie.
Louis, My deepest sympathies go to you in the loss of your stepmom Eldeen. I know she loved you very much. She will be missed by those of us still here but I know there will be a big party in heaven with her there now. Our love and prayers go out to you.
