Agnes D. Janecek, 90 of Weston, NE, entered into eternal rest on July 12, 2013 at the Saunders Care Center in Wahoo.  Agnes was born January 30, 1923 in Prague, NE to Joseph J. and Rose (Polacek) Steinbach.  She attended District 51 country school.  Agnes lived in Prague most of her life, until moving to Weston in 1979.  She was united in marriage to Joe R. Janecek on April 30, 1945 at Cedar Hill Sacred Heart.  Agnes was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Weston.

Agnes loved to cook and bake for family and friends.  She enjoyed crossword puzzles and watching professional wrestling.

Agnes was preceded in death by husband, Joe R. Janecek; sisters, Rose Slama and Adeline Spicka; brothers, John Steinbach, Joe Steinbach, and Max Steinbach.

She is survived by son, Joseph G. (Donna) Janecek of Weston; daughter, Mary (Leonard) Bouc of Mead; grandchildren, Jacee (Axton) Kahler, Ashley Goldberg, and Justin Janecek; great-grandchildren, Sebastian Kahler, Isabell Kahler, and Evan Goldberg; many nieces and nephews.
