Ann E. Divis, 83 of Wahoo, NE, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at the Saunders Care Center in Wahoo, NE. She was born December 2, 1930 on a farm near Prague, NE to Frank and Anna (Vanek) Sousek and lived in the Prague area until 1960 when she moved to Wahoo. On January 25, 1955, she married Raymond Pabian at Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Plasi, NE. They made their home in Prague where they operated a machine shop. Raymond passed away on April 2, 1959. She was married to Anthony Divis on December 22, 1975 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Wahoo. They lived on their farm north of Wahoo. He passed away on July 6, 2006.

She enjoyed being a homemaker and loved farm living. Ann worked at the Prague Variety Store, Co-op Grocery, and the U.S. Post Office. She also worked at the Wigman Café, Hakels Restaurant, and Fairview Café for several years. As a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, she was involved in the PCCW, Altar Rosary Society, St. Ludmilla Guild, and Rosary makers. She was a member of the Colon Legion Post #265 Auxiliary, Wahoo VFW Post #4502 Auxiliary and a former member of the Officers Extension Club.

She was preceded in death by husbands, Ray Pabian and Anthony Divis; parents, Frank and Anna Sousek; brother, Stanley Sousek; sisters-in-law, Delores Sousek, Angela Sousek, Charlotte Sousek; nephews, Marvin Sousek and Dale Rezac; a grand-niece and grand-nephew.

Ann is survived by brothers, Joseph (Anastasia) Sousek, James Sousek, Frank Sousek, and Victor (Joyce) Sousek; sister, Beatrice (Lawrence) Rezac; many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, relatives, and friends.

Rev. Charles Townsend will be officiating.

Pallbearers are John Sousek, Steve Sousek, Dave Sousek, Thomas Rezac, Martin Sousek, and Robert Rezac.
