Betty Jean Palmerton, 86, of Wahoo, NE, entered into rest on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Saunders Care Center in Wahoo, NE. She was born February 25, 1936 in Springfield, MO to Frank and Helen (Brownlow) Wallis.
Betty worked for Lincoln Public Schools as an elementary school nurse for many years until her retirement.
She is survived by her sons, David (Dennis) Seward, Adam Seward and James (Patty) Seward; grandchildren, Sara (Brian) Scheel and James (Courtney) Seward; great-grandchildren, Brian Scheel, Carrie Scheel and Lucia Scheel, James and Ava Seward; sister, Sue Flynn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Seward; 2nd husband, Thomas Palmerton; daughter, Carrie; parents, Frank and Helen.
Betty was a sweet caring woman. She was a good friend to our mother Eleanor Grabowski Fenton. Now together ❤️. Rest in peace Betty.
