Betty L. Sheridan, 83 of Wahoo, Nebraska, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 28, 2015 at Bryan East Medical Center in Lincoln. She was born January 16, 1932 in Kansas City, Missouri to Fred and Mary (Sprauge) Veale. Betty graduated from Warrensburg High School in Warrensburg, Missouri and attended the University of Central Missouri. On May 31, 1951, Betty was married to Paul Sheridan in Harrison, Arkansas.

Betty was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing and was an avid reader. One of Betty’s favorite jobs was working at the KB Toy Store. She was a devoted wife and mother that loved caring for her husband, children, and grandchildren.

She is survived by daughter, Mary (Bob) Bartek of Ithaca; sons, Daniel Sheridan of Boise, Idaho, David (Gabriela) Sheridan of Granger, Iowa, and Ray Sheridan of Des Moines, Iowa; 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Sherry Sheridan of Grimes, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by husband, Paul R. Sheridan; son, Paul R. Sheridan II; brothers, Leo Veale and Robert Veale; sisters, Olive Crandall and Peggy Hrenchir.
