Charlie always gave of himself without ever wanting anything in return. He was a best friend to everyone, could solve just about any problem. He was a great singer and bass player(Nightriders Band), we had many years of fun together, he was like a brother. It is hard to imagine life without him just down the road or a phone call away. I will miss you brother I guess God got another singer for his band and carpenter to work beside him.
I am proud to have called you my friend
    Love you Charlie

    Dear Elaine and Family:

We want you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers .. Charlie was such a GREAT husband, father, grandfather and last but not least big brother. Not ever did we see him without a big smile on his face and carrying on the best conversation
whether it was serious or full of great memories from the past .. He was definitely a very proud man of his position at ME Collins.

Rick says he was a great brother through thick and thin .. oh yes there were times like all brothers have but that is what gives Rick all the memories of Charlie to hold dear in his heart forever …

Me (DeAun) he warmed my heart and soul by talking about Knox County were I grew up, watching his eyes sparkle when he talked about his beautiful wife and daughter Hannah, and stories about his son Charlie , and the memories he shared about his brothers and parents … Best of all I enjoyed being around him at Loren’s cabin on Mark Twain lake in Missouri and watching him “bass fishing” .. oh and singing and picking guitar at Uncle Dick’s benefit…

What a big loss this is to our family and the void will never be filled …
Our love to you all !

Not only were you my dad bud you were also my best buddy and best friend and teacher.
