David W. Brabec, 65 of Wahoo, NE entered into eternal rest, Friday, March 22, 2024 in Wahoo, NE.  He was born July 22, 1958 in Kenedy, TX to Richard and Wilma (Voges) Brabec.  He graduated from Mead High School in 1977 and finished his schooling at Southeast Community   College in Milford, NE.  He was united in marriage to Paula Nozicka on February 28, 1987 in Wahoo.  Three children were born from this union, Sarah, Scott and Emily.

He learned his passion for welding at Valmont Industries before working at Bishop Neumann High School in facilities maintenance.

Dave was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and prankster who was always willing to help anyone in need.  He loved tinkering and welding in his shop on the farm and enjoyed old cars, gardening, traveling, animals, and history.  He was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church.

Dave is survived by his children, Sarah (Nicholas) Stukenholtz, Scott Brabec, Emily Brabec; grandchildren, Edith, August and Archie Stukenholtz; mother, Wilma Brabec; siblings, Richard (Shelli) Brabec, Raymond Brabec, Theresa (Ricky) Hull, Denise (Sam) Requenez, Terral Brabec, Angela (Kerry) Knuth, Ann (Ken) Braun, Amy (Ryan) Martin, Andrew (Tessa) Brabec and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Paula Brabec; father, Richard Brabec; grandson, Henry David Stukenholtz.
