Denise L. Dolezal, 68, of Omaha, NE, entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 17, 2023 at Lakeside Hospital in Omaha, NE. She was born June 13, 1954 in Humphrey, NE to Henry and Adelia (Machacek) Dolezal.
Denise enjoyed fishing, camping, drawing and trips to the casino. She loved watching the Huskers and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her life partner, Tammy Duryea; daughter, Shae (Montana Beutaer-Jones) Duryea; grandson, James Duryea; siblings, Donna (James) Stara and Deborah (Dan Koster) Crosby; sister-in-law, Sinobia Dolezal; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Adelia Dolezal; brother, Duane Dolezal.
Denise and I were very good friend from her Glenwood, Iowa days. We reconnected not long ago.
I loved her dearly and will miss her with my entire being. My prayers for her and all the members of her extended family.

Dee was such a joy I still miss her sitting on the porch at all hours in all weather conditions. She was so vigilant in watching dad’s day to day activities and we are so grateful for her.
Denise and I were classmates in Friend, Nebraska. Spent many hours riding horses. Denise on her horse Barney, Deb on her horse Caspar and me on Ginger. Rest in Peace old friend.
