Where do I begin….I’ve known and loved Donnie for 58 years. He was a man who inspired me in so many ways. Donnie was full of life, laughter and love. He found childlike joy in the most ordinary things. He loved to love and to be loved and he brought light and life into any room he walked into. He saw rainbows in puddles and sunshine on cloudy days. There will never be another Donnie Ken, and I will miss him terribly. I can see him now in heaven listening to polka music and being teased by my “Polka Dancin Pappa”, Harold Slama.
