Donald B. Ostry, 94, of Prague, NE, entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 24, 2023 in rural Prague, NE.  He was born May 26, 1928 in Prague, NE to Adolf and Lilly (Vyhlidal) Ostry.  Don served his country in the U.S. Army from 1950 to 1952 until he was honorably discharged.  On January 11, 1955, Don was united in marriage to Delores Kasper at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Prague, NE.  Don was a lifelong farmer near Prague, NE.

Don always looked forward to visiting with family and friends.  He was a happy man and always had a positive attitude.  He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and American Legion Post #254.

He is survived by children, Dwayne Ostry and friend Vicki Kobza, Debra (Eugene) Dauel, David Ostry and Diane (Don) Prochaska; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Blanche Bartek; many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Delores Ostry; daughter, Mary Ostry; grandson, Mitch Ostry; parents, Adolf and Lilly Ostry; sisters, Ethel Kavan, Alice Kavan, Mildred Ostry and Dorothy Jelinek.
