Elaine Gertrude Meduna, 94, of Wahoo, NE, formerly of Weston, NE, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at South Haven Living Center in Wahoo, NE.  She was born October 30, 1929 in Bruno, NE to Robert and Mary Ann (Divis) Stava.  Elaine graduated from David City High School in 1949.  On April 19, 1958, Elaine was united in marriage to Milo Meduna at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Bruno, NE and together they raised six children.

Elaine was a farm wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She enjoyed gardening and she loved spending time with her grandchildren.  Elaine was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church and a past member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Weston, NE.

She is survived by daughters, Connie (Art) Paquin, Theresa Glanz, Rose (Steve) Daharsh, Joyce (Ken) DeLay and Jane (Matt) Fesler; daughter-in-law, Carol Meduna; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milo Meduna; son, John Meduna; parents, Robert and Mary Ann Stava; siblings, Emil Stava, Robert Stava, Dennis Stava, Ella Koza, Lillian Pesek, Beatrice Polacek, Albinia Patocha, Mildred Gibilisco, Georgia Crha and Edith Wrona; son-in-law, Mike Glanz.
