Emily C. Bouc, 109 of Wahoo, NE, entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 5, 2014 at South Haven Living Center in Wahoo. She was born May 8, 1904 in rural Ceresco, NE to Joseph and Antonia (Lukas) Bouc. She attended District 118 country school near Ceresco. At the age of nearly 110 years, Emily was the oldest Nebraska resident.
She was a kind loving sister and aunt that was always good to her family. She was a caregiver to her parents and other family members. Emily was a very generous soul that always made time for her family and friends. She was a devoted Catholic that was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, St. Ludmilla Guild, Altar Rosary Society, Catholic Daughters of America, Pink Sisters Auxiliary, and Rosary Makers.
She is survived by sister, Lillian Zimola; nieces and nephews, George Bouc Jr., Bob Meduna Sr., Rosemary Rezac, Richard Zimola, Margaret Tomek, Marilyn Benal, Joan Welzel, Jeanne Williams, Susan Damewood, and Nancy Powers; many other family members and friends.
Preceded in death by brother, George Bouc Sr.; sisters, Rose Rezac, Marie Jonas, Anna Meduna, and Helen Malousek; nephews, Richard Rezac and Lawrence Bouc.
