Etta “Renee” Beaver, 68 of Wahoo, NE passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Bryan West Medical Center in Lincoln, NE surrounded by her loving family.  She was born April 28, 1955 in Powell, WY to Charlie and Etta (Schimonitz) Barber.  She was a graduate of Mead High School and completed her degree at Meto Community College in Elkhorn.   She worked as a CNA and Medical Aid for many years.  She was united in marriage to Timothy Beaver on February 3, 1979 in Casper, WY.

Taking care of people was a passion of Renee’s. Whether it was her residents at work or her family at home, she did everything she could for them and more. If she wasn’t at work, you could find her playing with and spoiling her grandchildren, hanging out with the girls from work, or fishing with her brothers.

She is survived by her children, Timothy Jr. (Lisa) Beaver of Venice ,NE;  Jim (Andrea) Beaver of Malmo, NE; grandchildren, Everett Beaver, Ava Beaver, McKinley Beaver, Axel Beaver, and Tilly Beaver; brothers, Loren (Nancy) Lucus, Ricky (DeAun) Lucas, Randy Lucas, Danny (Mary) Lucas, David Lucas; sister-in-law, Elaine Barber; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Beaver Sr; son, Bobby Hegwood; brothers, Charlie Barber, Jimmy Barber.

    Etta was a unique lady. When she smiled her eyes smiled too. I will miss her humor and quick witt. She had a true concern for those she cared for. Rest in peace dear friend! My sympathy to family and friends!
