Frances M. Zaloudek, 87 of Wahoo, NE, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at her home in Wahoo, NE.  She was born June 30, 1926 in Omaha, NE to James and Mary (Bohac) Zaloudek.  Frances graduated from Wahoo High School. 

Frances was very proud of her Czech heritage and she could read and speak Czech.  She was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church and the VFW Post #4502 Auxiliary.  As a waitress for most of her life, she loved the people that she served.  She also worked at St. Theresa Catholic Church in the cafeteria.  She was a wonderful historian and an excellent cook that loved her polka music.  Frances was the first grandchild of Jon and Marie Bohac and she had 57 first cousins to follow.

She is survived by son, Donald E. (Dezra) Jacobson Sr. of Oregon; 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph (Mary Ann) Zaloudek of Lincoln; nephew, Steve (Virginia) Zaloudek of Redfield, SD and David Zaloudek of Lincoln; best friend, Birdie Coutts of Wahoo.

She was preceded in death by daughter, Diana Snow.

Rev. Adam Sparling will be officiating.
