Frank J. Egr, 99 of Prague, NE, entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 9, 2013 at South Haven in Wahoo.  Frank was born on January 29, 1914 at the family farm near Prague, one of eight children, to Frank Jr. and Mary (Vanek) Egr.

He attended school at District 84 near Plasi and then worked on the family farm.  Frank married Adeline A. Woita of Weston on February 22, 1938 at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Plasi.  They moved to a farm home 4 ½ miles south of Prague on Highway 79 where their two children were born.

After seven years, they moved over the hill one mile west, which he farmed for over 30 years.  Farming was Frank’s life.  He retired in 1975 and built a new home in Prague were they lived together for 31 more years.  They treasured their marriage for 68 years together until Adeline’s death in 2006.  They were members of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Prague.

Frank is survived by son, Clarence (Nancy) Egr of Prague; daughter-in-law, Joyce Egr of Yutan; grandsons, Dean (Ann) Egr of Swedeburg, Darin (Susan) Egr of Yutan, Danny (Danielle) Egr of Yutan, Chris (Karen) Egr of Weston; granddaughter, Carmon (Troy) Kulek of Gretna; 14 great-grandchildren; brothers, George (Genevieve) Egr, Stanley (Norma) Egr; sister, Anne Bouc;  sister-in-law, June Egr; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Adeline; son, Daniel Egr; parents, Frank Jr. and Mary Egr; brothers and sisters-in-law, Anton (Elenor) Egr, Emil (Geraldine) Egr, Charles Egr; sister and brother-in-law, Mary (James) Ruzek; brother-in-law, Ernest Bouc.

Pallbearers are Dean Egr, Darin Egr, Danny Egr, Chris Egr, Carmon Kulek, and Troy Kulek
