Gladys L. Storey, 95 of Ithaca, NE, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at her home in Ithaca, NE.  She was born June 30, 1918 in Omaha, NE to Clarence and Pearl (Carson) Bartlet.  Gladys attended school in Omaha, NE and then she was married to her first husband, Raymond T. McGeorge.  They made their home in O’Neill, NE until he passed away.  Gladys then moved to Grand Island, NE and this is where she met her husband, Louis Storey.  They were united in marriage on November 13, 1993 at St. James Catholic Church in Mead, NE. 

Gladys worked for several years as a CNA at the O’Neill Senior Citizen Home.  She was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Mead, NE.  Traveling was one of Gladys’ favorite things to do, especially to family reunions in Minnesota.  She loved to dance and go fishing and she always enjoyed taking care of her family.

She is survived by husband, Louis Storey; children, Robert (Penny) McGeorge, Eugene Tharp, Barbara Ward, and Judy Everson; step-son, Walter Storey; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; brothers, Roy (Helen) Bartlet and Alvin (Marge) Bartlet; sister, Frances Williamson.  Preceded in death by 1st husband, Raymond T. McGeorge; son, Rick McGeorge; sisters, Mildred and Lillian; brothers, Billy Bartlet, Bobby Bartlet and Clarence Bartlet.
