Gregory D. Rezac, 64 of Valparaiso, NE entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 2, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family.   He was born March 22, 1958 in Wahoo, NE to Lawrence and Beatrice (Sousek) Rezac.  He was a graduate of Raymond High School.  Greg was the owner of R&R Construction and Oak Valley Lumber & Supply in Valparaiso.  He also farmed in the surrounding area.

Greg was a faith filled hard working man. He was a member of Sts. Mary & Joseph Catholic Church.  He loved his family, friends, and farming.  He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren gardening and attending their activities.  He enjoyed gardening, cooking, playing games and teaching.  Greg liked to stay busy by helping others on projects and was always willing to lend a hand. He was a member of the Valparaiso Businessman Association and a board member of zoning and planning in Valparaiso and Wahoo.

Greg is survived by his wife, Karen Rezac; children, Andrew Rezac, Joshua (Melanie) Rezac, Bridget (Tyler) Stover, Joseph (fiancé Melissa Gonzalez) Rezac; grandchildren, Harrison & Harvey Rezac, Braxton & Ensley Rezac, Abigail & Isabella Stover, Joel & Josiah Rezac; mother, Beatrice Rezac; siblings, Kathy (Norm) Rezac, Tom (Barb) Rezac, Jerome Rezac, Gary Rezac, Monica Rezac, Bernadette (Steve) Ference, Robert (Sherree) Rezac, Sr. Cecilia Ann Rezac, & Jeanette Meacham; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Rezac; brother, Dale Rezac; grandparents

    Greg was an amazing cousin! So patient and kind. I remember him coming to AZ with our grandma and great aunt Frances. So much fun and laughter! He will be missed!
