James F. Fujan, 85, of Prague, NE, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Bryan East Medical Center in Lincoln, NE.  He was born February 27, 1938 in Cedar Bluffs, NE to Joseph and Clara (Stara) Fujan.  Jim graduated from Marietta High School in 1955.  He served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1956-1958.  On June 6, 1959, Jim was united in marriage to Marlene Vanek at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Prague, NE.

Jim was a lifelong farmer and a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.  He was a member of the Prague American Legion Post #254, Bishop Neumann Booster Club and FCSLA.  Jim always loved attending his kids and grandkids sporting events.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Marlene Fujan; children, Roger (Brenda) Fujan, Gregg (Eva) Fujan, Dave (Angela) Fujan, Kelly (Jeff) Meduna and Paul (Ashley) Fujan; 18 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Clara Fujan; siblings, Ray Fujan, Joe Fujan, Clara Fujan, Maxine Kudlacek and Eileen Shanahan.
