Judy L. Macholan, 62, of Lincoln, NE, formerly of Norfolk, NE, died on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at her home in Lincoln. She was born February 17, 1953 in Wahoo, NE to Joseph and Betty (Reddington) Voboril. Judy graduated from Lincoln East High School in 1971 and Wayne State College in 1974. On August 26, 1972, she was married to Terry Macholan at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Wahoo. Judy worked for the Department of Labor for 34 years until her retirement in 2009.
Judy loved traveling, reading, and watching her grandchildren’s activities. She had been a member of the Clown Club of Norfolk and the Alpha Nu Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi.
Judy is survived by Terry Macholan, her husband of 43 years; son and daughter-in-law Scott and Krystal Macholan, grandchildren Crayton and Taytum, all of Blair, NE; son Ross Macholan of Omaha, NE; mother Betty Sullivan of Wahoo; brothers Jerry Voboril of Wahoo and Joe Voboril of Portland, OR and families; close friends DeVoe Manning of Dixon, IL and Jo Anna Sheets of Lincoln.
She was preceded in death by father, Joseph Voboril; mother-in-law, JoAnn Voboril; father-in-law, Bernard Macholan; and step-father, John Sullivan.
