Maria W. Mumm, 91, of Wahoo, NE, entered into rest on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Country House Residence in Lincoln, NE.  She was born May 31, 1932 in Queretaro, Mexico to Jose and Delfina (Hernandez) Moreno.  Maria came to the U.S. by herself at the age of 14.  She became a U.S. citizen in 1969.

In 1960, Maria was married to Hiram Wadsworth in Georgia.  Hiram passed away in 1962.  She married Arnold Mumm in Texas on August 2, 1968.  Maria was a seamstress, and she was a self-employed property manager for many years in Texas.

She is survived by daughters, Esther (Jim) Jonas and Blenda (Patrick) Wasacz; grandchildren, Amanda Jonas, Michael Jonas, Navar Dyer and Neven (Megan) Dyer; brother, Antonio (Celia) Moreno; sisters-in-law, Virginia Moreno and Leatha Mumm; many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by husbands, Hiram Wadsworth and Arnold Mumm; parents, Jose and Delfina Moreno; brothers, Patricio Moreno and Amado Moreno; sisters, Frances Hernandez and Rafaela Moreno.
