Marilyn L. Machovec, 80, of Wahoo, NE, died Sunday, September 10, 2017 at South Haven Living Center in Wahoo, NE. She was born February 20, 1937 in Wahoo, NE to Elmer and Doris (Nash) Wagner. Marilyn graduated from Mead High School in 1954. On April 4, 1959, Marilyn was united in marriage to Donald Machovec at St. John Catholic Church on Creighton University campus in Omaha, NE.
Marilyn enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She spent many hours sewing at the Catholic and Presbyterian churches in Wahoo. She attended St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church and she was a past member of the Town and Country Gals Extension Club.
She is survived by husband of 58 years, Donald A. Machovec; children, Paul M. (Sandra) Machovec, Maribeth (Michael) Everley, John C. Machovec and Marisue (Jerry) Campbell; grandchildren, Jeremy Machovec, Kevin Machovec, Adam (Elaine) Everley, Angela Everley and fiancé Kyle Schamp, Colt Campbell, Cash Campbell and Cody Campbell; great-grandchildren, Jared, Jordan, Kylee and Josie; brother-in-law, Amiel Machovec.
She was preceded in death by parents, Elmer and Doris Wagner and brother, Daniel Wagner.
My deepest condolences on your loss, she was a wonderful person. She will be missed very much. I will always remember her cookies from the old school. Thinking of you all.
