Michael “Doc” Joseph Martin passed away December 26, 2022 in Huntington Beach, CA.  Mike was born in Wahoo, NE the second son of Patrick and Beverly Martin. He graduated from Bishop Neumann High School in 1979. He was a multi-sport athlete participating in football, basketball, and track. He was a proud member of Neumann’s 1977 Class C-1 State Champion football team. Mike also attempted to be in a school play but was dismissed after being caught sleeping under the stage. After attending Doane College for one year, he moved to Texas with his brother Jim and worked in telecommunications. He later moved to Huntington Beach CA and opened his own telecommunication business named Aksarben.

He is the proud father of four children. Michael “Mikey”, (fiancé Johanna Gutierrez) Martin, Sierra Martin, Jacob Martin and Patrick Martin and five grandchildren: Chloe, Aeyla, Sadie, Jhianna and Keira.
