Paula J. Brabec, 58 of Wahoo, NE entered into eternal rest peacefully Sunday, January 8, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 29, 1964 in Wahoo, NE to Delmar and Phyllis (Vybiral) Nozicka. She graduated from Wahoo High School and the University of Nebraska in Lincoln with a Business Education degree. She was united in marriage to David W. Brabec on February 28, 1987 in Wahoo. Three children were born from this union, Sarah, Scott and Emily.
Paula was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who always put other people first. She was a teacher’s aide at St. Wenceslaus School for many years. She loved teaching and being around children. She enjoyed traveling, attending plays and musicals, solving puzzles, watching game shows and spending time with her family.
She was a faithful member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church and a member of St. Wenceslaus cleaning ladies.
Paula is survived by her husband, Dave Brabec; children, Sarah (Nicholas) Stukenholz, Scott Brabec and Emily Brabec; grandchildren, Edith and August Stukenholz; sister, Lisa (Rob) Martenson; nieces, Courtney (Dalton) Anderson and Abbie Martenson; great-nephew Callum Anderson; many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Delmar and Phyllis Nozicka; grandson, Henry Stuckenholz.
